Wednesday, March 18: There is one reason Marshall Watson’s projects look so distinctly different from one another; each is a unique narrative seen through the eyes of his client. Weaving throughout his gorgeous book, THE ART OF ELEGANCE: CLASSIC INTERIORS, is a common thread: Warmth. Light. Peace. Balance. Proportion. Livability. Watson, who holds a BA from Stanford has had a varied career, including painting, acting, theatrical set design culminating in a successful Manhattan design business. Thursday, April 23: Kristy Woodson Harvey is the best-selling author of six novels and considered one of the most influential new voices in Southern fiction. A graduate of UNC at Chapel Hill, she resides in Beaufort, NC, a charming Southern town which provides inspiration for her popular Peachtree Bluff series. Thursday, May 21: New York Times bestselling author, Mary Alice Monroe and previous WAHHI keynote speaker found her calling in environmental fiction when she moved to coastal SC. Her richly textured books explore the relationship between land and life. Recipient of numerous writing awards, her novel, THE BEACH HOUSE was adapted into a beautiful Hallmark Hall of Fame movie in 2018. An active conservationist, Monroe lives with her family on a barrier island outside Charleston. She serves on several conservation and literary boards.
