Giggled & Laughed, Laughed & Shopped, Shopped & Shopped for our February Luncheon at the beautiful Sonesta Resort on
Where we had the most unique experience on the island!
We started the day off from 9 AM – 12 PM with our “Love Yourself & Others Spring Bazaar” of local artists, craftsman, upscale stores, jewelry and authors will have their items for sale and also a chance to WIN BIG in our Love Yourself & Others Raffle.
The Grand Prize for the Love Yourself & Others Raffle is a “Health Spa Day Pass” to Hilton Head Health (H3) & The Indigo Spa — up to $480 value – was awarded. The winner will enjoy full access to H3’s wellness facility and program offerings with more than 10 fitness options, wellness lectures, nutrition and cooking experiences, and recreational opportunities. Enjoy H3’s amenities – heated pool, sauna and jacuzzi, as well as our fitness center and relaxation room. The day pass also includes three meals at H3’s True* Restaurant and finishes with a relaxing 50-minute Swedish Massage at the award-winning Indigo Spa.
Over $3,000 was raised from our Raffle proceeds that will go to our Youth Awards Grant Fund.
At 11:00 AM, we were entertained by Lucy Scandrett on the Harp while we enjoyed our festive drink special – “Heartfelt Bellini” !
To keep us Smiling & Laughing, our special guest speaker, Liz Farrell, Columnist & Senior Editor of the Island Packet, brought her delightful humor to enlighten us.

*Sheila, today was such a fun event. I arrived early to have a look round at the participating vendors … I was certainly impressed by the caliber of what the vendors brought to our meeting. The meal was also a delight. Jeanette Coggins has somehow been able to greatly improve the menus, quality of the meals, and much better service. Liz Farrell gave us some laughs and universal issues to consider in our journey on this earth. Bravo to the many who made today a great success. Keep the “Sparkle” alive. – Sheila Corbett
