The Belk Charity Sale is an in-store shopping event at Belk which will raise money for WAHHI’s Charitable Fund!
What Is the Belk Charity Day Sale?The Belk Charity Day Sale is a private, four-hour sale dedicated to supporting local non-profit organizations, such as WAHHI. WAHHI will have the opportunity to raise money while private sale customers receive 15% – 70% off Belk purchases storewide, including special savings on rarely-discounted brands.
How Does it Work?A Charity Day sale ticket can be purchased in advanceof the sale or at the door to be redeemed for $5 off a single purchase during the Charity Day sale hours and pre-sale. Use may only one certificate per item, but you may purchase as many certificates as you desire to buy multiple items! Limited exclusions apply.
On the morning of the Belk Charity Sale, the first 100 customers to arrive at Belk will receive a Belk gift card ranging in value from $5 to $100 and a chance to win one of three $1,000 Belk gift cards being awarded company-wide. All customers will receive $5 back on their first purchase. Participating charities and schools will be registered to win one of three $1,000 donations from Belk in a company-wide drawing.
What Do We Raise?In November 2018, WAHHI members raised $999.11for the WAHHI Charitable Fund through the Belk Charity Sale! This money is used for WAHHI grants for non-profit organizations. The WAHHI Charitable Fund benefits the greatest from ALL Pre-sale ticket sales as all on-site ticket sales are distributed across all the participating charitable organizations.
Are there Pre-Sales for the Charity Day?Customers canselect their purchases prior to the event, and these purchases are not charged until the morning of the Belk Charity Sale Day event. The pre-sale opportunity starts NOWand is for those customers who may not be able to attend the event to take advantage of the savings. Pre-sales work with (1) you shop at Belk using the sale flier; (2) Belk holds your merchandise and processes your credit card May 4th(3) you pick up your pre-sale merchandise at any time on or after the Belk Charity Sale Day event! To reserve merchandise, the Belk Charity Day Sale ticket should be presented to a Belk associate who can provide the necessary details. Pre-Sale merchandise can be reserved for up to 25 days for customer pick-up.
How to Purchase Belk Charity Day Tickets?The $5 tickets may be purchased at the April 26thluncheon OR from WAHHI Board, Council and Fun Raising Funds members NOW. You may also request tickets from Tamra at Tamra@WAHHI.org and arrange for a pickup!
